You know that we’re a full service bank with heart, but what does that mean?
It means we’re committed to our community, our customers, and our employees. We donate to local organizations throughout the year, sponsor youth programs, teach children to be generous givers with our KidsPlus program, and volunteer our time to causes that are important to us—and our Greater Androscoggin County community.
We recognize and award employees who go above and beyond their duties and who work tirelessly to keep our mission, vision, and values in alignment with who we are and what we do. One employee who exemplifies this is Cara Dyer. Let us introduce you to her!
“Auburn Savings is different from other banks because they truly care about their employees and the community. We also pride ourselves in knowing our customers by name and getting to know them.” – Cara Dyer
Cara Dyer (formerly Cara Hingey) is Auburn Savings’ Vice President & Loan Officer. Her primary responsibilities include processing consumer, residential and commercial loan applications and also building relationships with current, new, and potential customers—a very important part of what we do. Her colleagues describe her as “always willing to help” and she always “gives 100%.” Great qualities for an Auburn Savings team member to have!
When asked, Cara said she chose to become part of the Auburn Savings team because of the empowerment we provide employees and the fact that we’re a “community bank that gives back to the local community.”
Her favorite part of the workday? “Working with customers to purchase their dream home or make their current home their dream home by lending funds for a remodel.”
