We’ll be staying in touch with you throughout the process to make the transition as smooth as possible and, as always, if you have any questions, we’re just a phone call away to help.
Auburn Savings will never ask you to provide your online banking username or password, or any sensitive personal information. Debit Cards
You will be issued a new Auburn Savings Mastercard Debit Card and will receive it via mail approximately 1 week prior to the update weekend. Please do not throw away your current card as you will need to use it through Wednesday 9/30.
On 10/1, activate and begin using the new Auburn Savings Mastercard Debit Card that was mailed to you. To activate and select a PIN, call 1-877-955-3344 and follow the prompts. Your old debit card will no longer work on 10/1.
We encourage you to have an alternate form of payment (cash, Auburn Savings Credit Card) in the event of unforeseen circumstances during the update.
- Transactions made with your Auburn Savings Mastercard Debit Card during the system update may not be reflected in your current or available balances until Monday 10/5.
- Recurring transactions you have scheduled with your old debit card will need to be re-established with your new Auburn Savings Mastercard Debit Card number.
Your security is our priority. We will be implementing Mastercard 3D Secure! Mastercard 3D Secure is a behind-the-scenes service that allows Auburn Savings to collaborate with merchants to authenticate your identity before a purchase is authorized. This technology is designed to help us detect and prevent online fraud. There is no need to take any action as you’ll be automatically enrolled in this service.
Apple Pay and Samsung Pay will be available soon after the system update. Watch for more details coming soon!
ATMs
ATM and point-of-sale transaction limits will be lower during the update from 10/1 to 10/5. We encourage you to have an alternate form of payment (cash, Auburn Savings Credit Card) in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Bank Statements
The appearance of your Checking, Savings, and Money Market statements will change slightly. If you have any questions about the new format, please contact your local branch for assistance.
- Your September statement will include transactions and interest through 10/1.
- eStatement customers will receive a paper statement via mail for September. (The eStatement for September will be available at a later date.)
Digital Banking (online, mobile & text alerts)
Online banking will be temporarily unavailable during the system update from 6pm on Thursday 10/1 until the update is complete Monday 10/5 at 9am.
On Monday 10/5 at 9am after the update, Auburn OnLine will resume with a slightly different look; however, it will have all the same features and functionality that you enjoyed before. Although your user name will remain the same, you will have to create a new password and security questions.
Please Note: The login address will also change. If you have that bookmarked in your internet browser, you will need to create a new bookmark for the new login address. Use the login box on auburnsavings.com to obtain the new address.
Please Note: 18 months of previous eStatements will be viewable via online banking, however the check images will not be. If you have not archived these images and wish to do so, you will need to print or download them by September 30, 2020. Once online banking has been restored, there will be a delay of approximately two weeks before your August and September statements are available on the new platform.
If you have banking alerts set, you will need to reestablish these after the update is complete on 10/5.
Electronic Delivery of Documents Once the update is complete, our delivery of electronic documents will expand. You will now be able to choose which accounts of yours you want to have notices delivered electronically. When electronic delivery is elected for a particular account, you will also receive all other notices on that account electronically, including overdraft notice, transfer notice, certificate of deposit (CD) maturity notice, etc. You can select electronic delivery for any or all accounts.
Mobile Banking and Text Alerts will be temporarily unavailable during the system update from 6pm on Thursday 10/1 until the update is complete Monday 10/5 at 9am.
Once the system is restored you will have to reestablish any alerts as they will not carry forward.
Bill Pay
From 9am on 9/25 until the update is complete on Monday 10/5 at 9am you will be unable to access Bill Pay to add new payments or make other changes to existing scheduled payments. Payments scheduled for processing before 10/2 will process as normal. Payments you have scheduled for processing on 10/2 will not be processed until 10/5. If you are concerned about these payments not arriving on time, please access your account and change the scheduled payment date to 10/1. Remember to have sufficient funds in your account to accommodate this.
Once Online Banking has been restored on 10/5 at 9am, your existing payees will still appear and you will have access to make any changes to future scheduled Bill Pay payments as usual.
We encourage you to check the new system to verify your scheduled payments.
Please Note: Your username for online banking will remain; however, the new platform will require you to establish a new password as passwords will not carry over from the existing system. Be sure to check your Auburn OnLine banking messages during the month of September for a temporary password and important information on how to log in to online banking once the update is complete on 10/5.
