Q. How do I enroll or begin receiving an eStatement?
A. From the auburnsavings.com home page, click the “Login” or “Register” button inside the purple Auburn Online box on the left-hand side of the page. Read and then accept the User Agreement. Your next monthly statement will be an eStatement.
Q. What fees are involved if I choose to receive eStatements?
A. None! eStatements is offered to you free of charge and eliminates the need to request statement copies or check copies and may actually reduce fees that you currently pay for those services. Sixteen monthly statements and associated checks are available to you; fees would be assessed if information prior to that is required.
Q. What if I decide I don’t like eStatments and want to return to a paper statement?
A. Simply write to us or stop in one of our offices and sign a termination authorization.
Q. How many months of archived statements will be available at sign up?
A. Once you sign up for eStatements up to 16 months of statements will immediately be available to you as long as your account has been opened that long.
Q. How exactly will I “see” my on-line statement?
A. You will receive an email notifying you that the statement is available. It will provide a reference to go to the Auburn Savings website where you will log onto Auburn On-Line and then click the “View Documents” button located on the “Account Services” tab.
Q. Can my eStatement be printed?
A. Yes, you can print your statement. You will need a printer connected to your computer to do so.
Q. Does an eStatement look like the regular printed statements?
A. Yes, the electronic version of the statement is very similar if not identical in format to the printed statement and will be easily recognized.
Q. Is this available for other statements and notices?
A. At the present time eStatements are available for all deposit accounts that you are currently receiving a statement for. Loan notices and billings are not currently available but could be in the near future. We will notify you if and when that option becomes available.
Q. If I choose eStatments, does this eliminate the paper copy that I would normally receive?
A. Yes, once you choose eStatements all paper deposit account statements will cease. You must select one option or the other.
Q. Will check images be available with my eStatement?
A. Yes, Check images will also be displayed electronically and you will have various options for the ordering of how they are viewed (amount order, check number order etc).
Other Features
On Line Reconciliation – a simple and easy to follow tool that allows you to balance your statement on-line and save the balance record if you choose.
Download formats – offers OFX, QIF and CSV formats that allow you to import your statement information into a variety of accounting software products such as Quicken and Microsoft Money.
Availability – eStatements are typically available the day after your statement cycle ends. No more waiting for the mail or checking your mailbox.
